Can use to cut pills, store pills, and if traveling fill a wee little cup with water to help you swallow your pilI had one for years and dropped it on the ceramic floor. The hinge broke. This replacement was inexpensive. I was very pleased to be able to find it.

Dont get me wrong bc I love these things theyre my fav pill crusher and ive tried a million. But they crack easier bc of the plastic made with. I dont mind buying a new one every year or 6 months bc its cheap and my fav ones. Good enough to still get 5 star review even tho

Bought this for my cats when they were on flea medication to grind it up and hide it in their food. Works perfectly. I even used it to cut cat treats in half when they were too small for the big treats I had. It works for everything, no complaints

Nice little cutter/crusher, very handy being all in one. It is sturdy and good value for a low price. I have three dogs, two of whom require several meds cut and crushed twice a day. This has been a lifesaver! I can’t tell you how sick I was of grinding away with the mortar and pestle I have, with the awful autoimmune psoriatic Arthritis that’s makes my palms andfingers hurt so much. This requires some twisting power, as you screw the crusher down to Crunch the pills, but not too much at all. I love this thing!!

I'm so glad I found this crusher! I had the round one that you have to keep twisting back and forth to crush the pill, which really aggravated the arthritis in my hands/wrists. This one has like a grater so you just turn it once or twice!

I have a small dog with serious health issues. I spent 20 minutes trying to get a pill down her. Decided I would have to crush the pills. Took forever with a cup and spoon. Then I found this! It works great!! With uncoated pills you get a very find powder. With coated pills you do not get a very fine powder, but it does grind them into tiny particles much smaller than a pin head - just not a powder. Now I just mix with peanut butter and she can't remove the pill and spit it out. It does not take much effort to crush them. The small bristles that grind it into powder did not give me any problems getting the crushed pill out. If the pieces didn't come out when I tapped the container, I just used a toothpick. Works Great! I would recommend.

I'm glad I got this crusher. It's smooth and creates a fine powder. When using a different style that isn't smooth you'll get chunks of pills which obviously isn't the point of crushing meds to be disguised in applesauce! It's also pretty easy to get pills to split evenly!

I was looking for a pill crusher because my son is on some medication that is really hard to crush up.I love how small it is and how versatile it is. I can cut my sons pills in half, save half in the bottom, crush up the pills, and put it in milk for him.I hope it lasts for a while.

My second of this cutter. The first one lasted years. The blade finally fell off.I bought different ones before getting this again. This one places the pill in the scorable part. The pill doesnt shatter like the more expensive ones. This is my go to for cutting medicine.

Best pill cutter I have tried. There was a little learning curve. Gently shake the pill into place and press. You get very close to true halves. I had been looking for one that didn't have "loose arms" that give all different sizes. Carefully drop cut pill into palm of the hand or it could go anywhere and you will be searching for it. I have not tried it as a crusher.

My previous pill cutter never cut my pills anywhere near in half & would often break them into pieces. I just got this, so I’ve only used it twice BUT it cut my little pills into perfect halves both times!I also tested the pill crusher & it’s works easily & extremely well! The only minor drawback is trying to get out all the powder ― BUT there are little brushes for such a thing, and with One of those, you’re set!Overall, this is an awesome multi-function pill cutter/crusher/case that’s easy to use & works great, especially for the price ― I wish I’d have gotten this a long time ago! Glad I didn’t pay much attention to the negative reviews.

Yes, this little gadget solves for handling those pesky pills. My elderly dog has Cushings disease as well as several other ailments and needs six pills a day. If you've tried to give a dog a pill you'll know what I mean when I say it's a challenge.Plus, some of his pills could not be given whole, because he is such a small dog. They needed to be split in half.To the rescue came this gadget. Its splitter made short work of accurately cleaving tablets in two. And its grinder enabled me to pulverize five other pills so I could sprinkle them on top of his dinner and he was none the wiser -- they got eaten.I recommend this product without reservation.

The top section is a pill cutter. This thing has 4 parts: a cutter on top,, where you line up the pill and cut it in half, a two-part crusher where you out in the pill in the lower part and screw in the top part and it crushes the pill. The underside of the bottom of the crusher is divided into 4 small chambers and the 4th piece is a sort of lid so you could store pills in the chambers. I have not used the storage function so I don't know how secure the pills would be. I have both cut and crushed pills. I prefer to use the cutter a few times per pill only because I am too lazy to fill the crusher section with water, as it leaves a fair amount of powder in the bottom in the "teeth" so you need to add a little water and drink it to get all your meds. This means you need to rinse it, too. But still, either way does the job for me.

Perfect for my needs and great quality this is the only type I buy. I've heard some say it doesn't crush finely which I can see why they say that however that is only for the first few uses. From someone who uses this 3x's a day like myself. Once you have used it for a few days you will see that it crushes finely and continues to untill it's end of life which I haven't needed to buy another one for about 4yrs yes I said 4yrs my last one worked perfectly and crushed finely. I only bought a new one because my old one no longer was able to close with a seal it would just spin as if I were crushing something and if I wanted to take my lunch meds along precrushed I couldn't without them ending up on the bottom of my purse. If you use one of these you will understand... That is why I am buying a new one but technically it's still usable and I keep in my medilock box for a just in case situation.

This is the best pill crusher ever! I use it to crush my fur baby's seizure medication which I then mix with baby food. It makes it sooo much easier to get her meds down. She has to take her pills three times a day and it was hard to convince her it was in her best interest to take them. Again this is a game changer. It takes seconds to crush the pills and she gobbles up her spiked baby food.

I'm glad I got this product. It works way better than I expected. All you do is put the pill in the crusher and rotate back and forth while the pills get crushed. One pill at a time is easiest and fastest. Cutting the pills before crushing them helps but isn't necessary when doing one pill at a time. I hope this helps anyone who needs a cutter, crusher for pills.

This is my absolute favorite pill cutter I have ever purchased! I need to split pills for my dog all the time and other cutters I’ve used kind of crushed the pills as they cut and he doesn’t get the whole dosage and it leaves a mess. It can unscrew for a pill crusher which is great, and a little spot on the bottom to hold pills as well! Another thing: other pill cutters shoot the pill as it cuts and I’ve lost a few pill halves this way. This one, however, keeps it in the cap as you cut it, which is amazing.
